Spanish 1 Midterm Speaking Assessment
A large part of your grade
for Spanish 1 midterms (60%) will be based on speaking performance assessments.
This means that you must carry on an authentic conversation in Spanish using
the language we have used thus far. You
will be expected to both ask and answer questions and participate in the
continuation of the conversation.
Below you will find guides to
each of the chapters we've studied so far, as well as a few guiding questions. While some of these guiding questions will
appear on the midterm, you should study all vocabulary and target language
we've learned since the start of the year.

Introductions, weather and personal information
Task: Introduce yourself and have a basic first-meeting
conversation with your teacher. Use the language you have learned to make small
talk with him. Included themes and topics from this unit are greetings, weather
and personal information. Make sure to use Usted
with your teacher and not just talk about yourself. Instead you should also ask
your teacher questions.
