Spanish 1

Tuesday - objective:  discuss personality using both first and third person

Classwork:  

1) complete act. 12, p. 66. Ask ¿Cómo eres? to your partner + take notes

2) complete act. 13, p. 66, using model as a guide + also include negatives about yourself and your partner   (write a paragraph following the model) 

Homework: p. 47 and 48 in 1B packet

Wednesday - objective:  use indefinite articles un / una with Spanish nouns


Classwork:  

1) complete act. 9, p. 65 in notebook  +  read gramática box on p. 70.

2) sketch six nouns you have learned since the beginning of the year. write six answers to the question ¿Qué es?, using your items and un / una as answers.

Es un libro.

Thursday - objective:  consider correct order of adjectives when speaking/writing in Spanish

Classwork:  

1) read gramática box on p. 72. Read five examples (including negatives in ¿recuerdas? box).

2)  Complete act 23, p. 72 

3) Receive vocab cards (pick up in A-103). As make-up activity, write four questions following the model below. Write answers for each question.

Note: Prepositions quiz on Friday!

2) Review prepositions and target language:

Note: Remember to combine de + el into del when de appears before a masculine word.

4) Spend 5 minutes completing a simple sketch of your room, similiar to the model of Celelia's room. Label items with words.  (act 7., p. 101)

1) Write five true or false statements about items in the room you're in, indicating whether each is verdadero o falso.

There are 12  errors in the restaurant review below. For each item, indicate the line that the errors occurrs in, what the incorrect word or phrase is and what the word or phrase should be changed to.
